Come to play and learn cognitive therapy concepts.
Learning cognitive therapy words and concepts can be a little daunting, with the different types of cognitive distortions, the ends and outs of the four column technique, and so on. This website is meant to make that easier for you. Currently, three games are available, and you can start with any one.
You might warm up with a few easy true/false questions about cognitive therapy in the Mountain Climber game. Then there’s the anxiety game (also called Sunny Skies, or Blow the Clouds Away), and the Depression/self esteem game (also called Haunted House). These help you to learn the different types of cognitive distortions.
Planned for the future are “Joe Versus the Volcano” (dealing with angry thoughts) and “Hey You @#$%” which is about negative thoughts in relationships. We are also planning some children’s games.
